Certification as Certified Scrum Product Owner

Many crucial aspects of Scrum and Agile are difficult to learn from books. We use interactive simulations and work through a lot of content together interactively to make key aspects tangible already in the training. In our trainings, we primarily incorporate our experience and our previous approaches so that they can quickly and successfully implement the method in practice. In this sense, the training has proven to be both a start of your journey to more agility for aspiring Product Owners and a consolidation of your previous journey.

The Product Owner helps to organize the project in interaction between stakeholders and the agile team in such a way that we always deliver the maximum value. The necessary skills to achieve this in an agile environment are taught in our Certified Scrum Product Owner® Training. To help you shape your new ways of working, you need a deeper understanding. Our interactive trainings go far beyond imparting mere facts. Rather, we want to make the new methods tangible. Due to the above-mentioned orientation, our training is the ideal entry point into new, more advanced ways of working. For practitioners, this seminar is equally a good way to reflect on and consolidate their experiences.

Who is the training for?

The focus of the training is to develop Scrum Product Owner and enable you to lead, monitor and support teams with a sustainable and good Scrum understanding. It is important to have a good and close cooperation in a self-organized team and this requires the best possible communication, interaction and transparency in a working environment.
Those who come from a company that is beginning to adopt an agile orientation will take away from our training a good basic knowledge and tools to be able to provide new orientation in an ambitious and complex project environment.
Participants who already have Scrum experience will have the chance to refresh or supplement their knowledge, reflect on their own concerns from day-to-day business and come back with new insights and concrete improvement approaches.

And what do I take with me?

Part I

We reflect on the basic principles in order to fill out the framework that Scrum offers in a meaningful and goal-oriented way.
Answers are given to the following topics:

How do we use Scrum increments and lessons learned in a meaningful way to maximize innovation, reduce risk and achieve the best possible product?
Where does Scrum fit and work best, and what key functions does it require to use Scrum most effectively.
How the right environment can help develop and build the best possible understanding and identification among all stakeholders.
Why agile modes of operation offer the logical, because goal-oriented, direction to develop products and services more successfully and sustainably.
How the respective roles and responsibilities promote the right balance between typically conflicting interests of continuous change and the requirements to create products and services in best quality and functionality.
Together and based on our needs we will reflect on how the basic Scrum principles help us to use the framework Scrum provides in a meaningful, effective and thus goal-oriented way.

Part II

ProductOwnership – from the vision to the finished product. We address the areas listed below, among others:

How can we design an effective environment for effective Procut Ownership?
At the heart of effective ProductOwnership is the ability to design and organize the product environment in a way to be collectively able to create the best possible product with the best possible cohesive interaction between team, users and stakeholders.
How a precisely envisioned and shared product vision provides the necessary direction to develop and create the best possible product – purposefully and in a dynamic way.
We illuminate how various agile assumptions help bring context and vision to all stakeholders. This enables an optimal, the best possible bringing together of the Scrum team, stakeholders and developers in the development and creation process.
A guide to the optimal design of the user backlog.
How to interact in the best possible way with all stakeholders in the development process.

The training is a constructive and good way to shed light on your role as ProductOwner, to reflect on it and to find further ways to grow in this role.

Many “aha”-experiences through practical exercises open doors for new ways of thinking and approaches completely outside of the possibly familiar plan-driven project management methods.
